HOLDING ON, LETTING GO - ongoing project

These photographs are part of an ongoing project, Holding On, Letting Go -- a contemplation about family, love and loss.

As I watch my daughters grow, I feel the loss of my own parents. My mother died just after my oldest daughter's first birthday; my father, some years later.

Found within our sleep-deprived chaotic lives, the moments of quiet hit me in the heart. They raise unanswerable questions, inviting me to accept ambiguity.
